I’m on stage three times today so my fabulous editor @MCSnugz has given me a Star Wars lunch box filled with caffeinated energy gels.

It really is full of caffeine gels. There is also an Imperial Storm Trooper lollipop to be deployed, she tells me, “in case of need”.

 

 

Terrific, fast-paced interview with a very well prepared Lucas Wittmann. The inaugural @Newsweek @TheDailyBeast book club is going to be a good one.

Ed from Mr B’s in Bath – a lovely man & a legend of a bookseller… I left the store with four books that I’m intrigued to read, thanks to his recommendations. Mr B’s do a bespoke reading package where they talk with you and recommend you a book each month for a year. Based on the chat I just had with them, I reckon that would be a great move.

Good advice from Rose Avenue Primary School in St. James Town, Toronto, which I visited yesterday. The school is in the most densely populated block of North America, and the school’s “hold up the sky” motto arose because the area has very little green space and is so high-rise that the sky is the only part of nature you can see.

Talked with students this morning at Rose Avenue Primary School in St. James Town, Toronto. Brightest & most charming bunch of kids you could ever meet.

At my Canadian publisher’s party last night, hand baked cookies with Gold logos individually painted & purple medal ribbons. More than somewhat touched. Had to pretend I had something in my eye.

Enjoyed this morning’s interview on Canada AM with Beverley Thompson. It’s hard to squeeze a novel into 4 minutes & she’d really done her homework.
